State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology &Applied Nutrition (SIHMCT&AN), New Tehri is Established in September 2015, Govern by the Uttrakhand Tourism Development Board,Govt of Uttarakhand and a Constituent Institute of Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun , Registered under the society of registration act with wide registration. 162/2014-2015. With District Registrar of Societies New Tehri.


The institute is located in New Tehri, 3M & L Block, Near Government Girls High School, Moldhar and 110 km from Dehradun.

The institute is conducting Four year Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology affiliated by Uttrakhand technical university, the programme is spread over eight semesters, with six month industrial training. The course aims to develop studentís ability, foster their skills, and disseminate the hospitality education to meet the industry requierments. The Institute is fully equipped with appropriate laboratories,classrooms and library to acquire the required skills and standards as per the Degree Program.

SIHMCT&AN provides a unique environment for learning. The institute is proud to accommodate students of different parts of Uttrakhand and India. The institute initiate to provide learning facilities for students who may require special or additional resources to help them in achieving the required skills.
